Cynthia-they are doing great! Yes they are getting spoiled. My son held them alternately all day long. Then my DH got this treat thing for chicks that is called a babycake, dangling from a string and he hung it in their cage. They have been picking at it alot. We are still coming up with names. One is more skittish and noisy., the other a little more mellow...so I can tell them apart this way, plus the noisier one is a little less fluffy and has a more defined white stripe on her little beak. Both are extremely cute! Cannot locate my camera, is here somewhere, I will put pics up as soon as I find it. We are thinking...,Mavis and Mabel, Clovis and Carla, Nina and Nola....silly names like that. Maybe after I post pics you guys could give me some ideas!
Thanks for the nice compliments! I thought you and your husband were such a cute couple, and it is so adorable how much you guys love each other, hope you had a great anniversary! I could have seriously sat in the parking lot and gabbed with you two all night. You guys are some seriously nice, good people
It was so fun to meet other chicken lovers. My husband is getting into this chicken thing.....today he decorated our coop with lights and a big star up above it so the chickens can have a good Christmas too haha! I will add that picture on here when I find my camera
Sphinx---thanks for the nice comments! It really was fun to go meet Cynthia and her husband. I look forward to your posts about your incubating project. The school kids will love that! It is sad you had to lose your chickens
About my dog-----he is currently hiding in the bathroom. I think he is a bit mad we have more baby chicks in the garage and have had to holller at him today to quit digging at the garage door. Poor thing, it is always hard for him at first but he will have to get used to the "chicken" way of life around here.
