Okay, so I broke down and helped the two stuck chicks out. The other four eggs aren't pipped or making any noise,The two I helped out are moderately frantic and can't seem to get their legs under them, but I will give them a few hours and see what happens. I've put them back in the hatching tray for now to keep them warm and safe. I really hate this...![]()
I know how hard it is when you have to do this. I personally will go ahead and put them into the brooder with the others if they are strong enough to make peeping sounds, and act like they are trying to get up. I keep going back to the room and put them on their tum mys, with their legs under them, they get the hang of it pretty quick most of the time. But, if the others are walking all over them, then try and make a separate area in the brooder for them. They may take through the night to sleep, and when you get up in the morning, come in to babies that are on their tummies on their own. I think they will do better though, with the sounds of the other chicks near by.
