LOL! I'm here--just working a nasty 16 hour shift! Why on earth do I agree to do these things? Like the 12 hour shifts aren't long enough? I am such an idiot sometimes!

The little chick is your whenever you like. Good to know she (he? it?) will go to a nice home. Want a little Legbar for-sure rooster with it (it's hatchmate)? I have something like 10 Legbar boys to go with the 10 hens. I'm thinking that ratio is just a wee bit whacked and I'll have some seriously displeased hens as they get older!

Anyway, we will have to arrange to get the little one to you when it's convenient for you. Let me know how you want to work it. I mostly work night 7-7, except when I am being stupid like today and working a 16. I am off tomorrow and Friday, but then gone to Duchesne Saturday and working pretty much every night next week.

Ok Lisa, just met Red for the first time. She is soo nice! What a sweetheart. She has a real nice brother too. Good looks run in that family!

So, she has a couple or two or three, or four..or five, or six...not really, but a few, little cuties for you. They look to be girls to the both of us..we did our best picking girls.


Pictures..I want pictures of your babies as they grow! Will be fun!! I'll have to put up pictures of the older black one that we decided to keep here as it grows. It was almost eneey meenie miney moe..as to which to send your way. Hope you get a blue egg from the splash, better chance than from the black. Plus, there is a very small little blue. I have been calling that one tiny tot. It seems that there is always/usually a Buba, and/or a tiny tot. I got a tiny tot this time. Puffy cheeks!

Sphinx I am stopping at Donna's for eggs Fri night, I could pick up your babies and drop them on my way back. I am making very many stops now haha so maybe I could call you on my way through and have you run up to the closest gas station off I-15 so I can zoom home. I am leaving at 5:30 and headed to Donna's (6:30 ish) then to West Valley to pick up Cindy's roo and stop at Reds to get my Cynthia chicks, then back to Logan. If I can contain my gift of gab with Donna and Red I am hoping to be leaving West Valley by 8 -8:30 and would be back by your area around 9 ish hopefully at the latest. Let me know~! I owe ya a chicken ride, you helped me get the lavs back from Cynthia's.

Cynthia--there needs to be a chicken shuttle from Logan to Spanish Fork. With stops in Bountiful, West Valley, Magna......it would be perfect. I would never need to get feed store chicks again ever.

Cynthia, shucks. You're too kind. It was fun to meet you! And I loved getting to see your girls. What a pretty flock. And that silkie IS cute! I've never seen one in person before. Thanks again for the chicks, I'm now in well over my head and happily drowning in peeps.

If I recall correctly, they are about 2 weeks old, though maybe a little older. In any case, they are off the heat lamp and just in a warm room/brooder now and doing fine.

Lisa, I hope you don't get your blue egg for a long time...so we can keep hearing from you....J/K! I hope, I hope, it comes soon. I'm with Shinx again, waiting on that Lavender..fingers crossed. My girl sure is small compared to that black EE, or now hearing that I may have one of sonews pure black Ameruacanas..cool, whatever, she, is pretty.

Well went to the ENT, to find that I have MTD. LOL.. Muscle Tension Dysphonia. I guess I'm up for some speech therapy. Go in for a surgery, go to another dr. to find out you have another problem, because of the surgery. Happens, but sure am glad I had that done, I couldn't believe the pain! This is just uncomfortable, and at times hard to swallow, mostly, I get tired talking..aww shucks! And, I can't sing but one verse in church! I loved singing. And, I can't yell in front of the American Idol show now! For my favs!

Oh, supposedly, this therapy fixes it! A few lessons, then I think I do it on my own, not sure, I go in next month.

Had an icky thing done right there in the office for him to see down my throat...they spray this stuff in your nose, it goes down the throat so you don't feel the tube..too much..yeah right. I have the worst gag reflux. So yeah, I gagged. He said I didn't do it as bad has he's seen. But the bad part was my reaction to the stuff they used. I had tingly head, my heart started doing what I call "it's" thing..I have irregular heart beats, have had two heart ablations. If I had known there was going to be lanacane used, I probably would have skipped that..but, anyway, when he saw how I was reacting to it, he had my vitals taken again, my heart rate was down, my blood pressure was up. They couldn't figure why my heart rate would be down. I'm like..hello...no, I didn't say that, but, because of my heart skipping beats, that thing isn't going to show the right heart rate. It was just a finger monitor. The dr. came in and sat down a while, and asked if I wanted to stay a while and be watched, I could tell he was nervous, I could tell I was just going to be uncomfortable with the tingling, and I'm used to my heart acting up..so, I said no, and went off with my front teeth numb, my upper part of my mouth numb, my head tingling..I'm laughing right now..as I think of how I must have looked going outside itching my head. Crazy stuff..but that wore off in the mouth area in about and hr..and the nose stayed numb for a while longer. So, there was my fun for the day..now, I am thinking it will be more fun tonight when Red shows up.

Cynthia, I'm sorry you have to go through this! I hope the therapy helps and gets you fixed up exactly the way you want to be.
