Thanks a LOT Cynthia---you started it haha! Naughty girl. The bator is next. I am resisting currently but as soon as you post pics and have a great hatch my self control is outta here.

I just came back on to let you know that I was laughing with you, because, I am right there with you.
.ok..so, here's what happens when you buy through the years..you don't always win! Glad I got those from Bethel Farms...ruth. I am actually worried about setting these other Welsummer eggs..yes, they are the same bird as ruths' but, you can see that they are not the same in color!. I had 7 very wet, very weepy eggs. The bubble wrap stuck to the eggs! I have never ever left a neutral feed back on anything from e-bay, but I had to this time. I wrote this guy many times wondering when my eggs would come. I ordered on May 2nd. Never, did he write back. He sent 14, but I am worried about them because they were in with the sticky wet ones..and I mean wet! They were wrapped separately, but I still worry. Will put them in my still air and see how they do. If they look ok after 5 days, I will put them in the turner/bator.

Top pic are the ones I will try and hatch, the bottoms ones are the ones I threw out.

Oh man! Hope they work. It is sad when they arrive like that because they are so expensive. I lost money on my eggs from qcu----because the Marans all did not work...so I am buying pullets directly from her this time. But I did sell the orps and I have 2 ameraucanas left I can sell....so overall on the whole carton I was still in the hole about $15. I still love her eggs and may just drive over next spring to try some more so the shipping is not a factor. I think Ruth's Welsummer eggs look better than those weepy ones...darker....:) Looks like hers arrived in great condition? Hope I can get the ones I want from her :) Long way to ship though so it is scary.

So far Donna's are doing great, all fertile, just a couple quit......and the blue ones from Chickenstock are all developing, no infertiles. That made me happy!

Cynthia I have totally caught your hatching bug. I really need to be done!

Yes, ruth's are in the bator now. They all got here safe. None broken, none weepy. Extras. Hey, I didn't know she had EE's! And I looked at her pictures..going back to look again!

Well duh! Her avatar has an EE I do believe, and there is a pic right there with lots of eggs in a basket, with green, pretty dark green eggs! Oh dear.

I thought I would share a pic. The Boy is a pretty blue but you cant tell that in the pic....Can't wait to see if any hatch.
