Utah!

What breed is that? Did you notice that it got the green egg going more? It's probably screaming away right now.
It always amazes me at how this all works..quite the miracle.

Still amazing to me too. Shirley, the one who hatched, is the one that I can't quite remember. It seems like it was either welsummer or barnevelder. Probably not a purebred. The dark olive one is an olive egger, and I think there's lavender ameraucana and bcm in the mix. The third one, that's mostly out of camera, is the coronation sussex.

I'm thinking the one out of sight will be in sight soon, that little one is going all around the place. Going to have the others eggs going around.
Do I remember you mentioning someone named Suzie? From down this way..Lehi, or Pleasant Grove? If you got the egg from her, she has barnevelders. I know, she got some babies from me..if it's the same gal..
Ok, just got a good look up front there..that isn't a Wellie. Too dark, could be a barney.. :)

LOL...that was too cute, just plopped it's little head right back into the shell! I best get going..stuff to do..I will be watching that green egg later! Fun..

Picked up the polish. Cute little things! One is a yeller----going a hundred miles an hour. The other two are as quiet as can be. Cynthia---your two chicks have red painted toenails for good luck! I wish I had another week, I bet it would be easier to tell. They really have not started feathering at all yet, just fuzzballs. Only 2 and 3 days old.

Met Hattie and her cute daughter and grandkids. Adorable little bunch right there! And she showed me her silkies, a whole basket full, WOW gorgeous! Blues blacks and splashes. A blue in there with eyes to die for. Thanks again Hattie for the chicken shuttle~~! look forward to seeing you again this weekend with my little Delaware, if it all works out. Anybody else want some pullet (sexed!) chicks from Birdguy I would be glad to pick them up for you. Hattie is either bringing them to me or I am going up to get them. He said they were $3 and from Cackle Hatchery

I'm jealous you got to meet Hattie!!!

Cynthia, no, I got these eggs from Suzie from River Rock Family Farm, up here in South Weber. She'd set aside some coro sussex, a silver sussex, and then two ameraucanas. I rejected the one ameraucana (felt like it was a little too big and wouldn't turn well) and grabbed Shirley from her eating eggs basket, which is mainly mutts.

Hattie is adorable. haha you all are!! Love my chicken friends.

Sphinx, I will not get any housework done again, these babies better hatch before midnight or it will be no sleep for me too lol! Love watching them, it is so awesome you did the cam :)

Ok sitting her staring at the webcam.. Have too much time on my hands. Here is something to look at while we wait patiently for these chicks to hatch lol! So in another window, I will post pics of my new little coop, "La Casita". The front door is still not cut out, the white letters are not up.....but you can see how fun it is. It is a bit of a mess still but between this and the playhouse we are working on getting it all put back together ! Oh and for fun I have a pic of my 6 youngsters---the 2 wheatens from qcu, 2 black and 1 blue AM from Cynthia dear, and the Marans we got at chickenstock from Birdguy. Then there are a few pics of my polish because they kept sticking their heads out at my phone like they wanted pictures :) Kinda blurry, did not have my camera. Notice all the feathers laying around? That is why Shirlee will be on KSL this week Grrrrr
The whole deal----big coop "La Casa de Pollo"on left little coop on right

the middle:

The new little one:

My teens. So brave--

the blue WC polish "Frisco"

the golden laced I got from Blujems haha I do not even know how she can walk without tripping!
