Utah!

Wow Lisa. She's cute! I can't believe how different she looks from my Ellie, though. It's very interesting to see! I would love to have her, but I'd need to figure out how in the world I'm going to meet up with you. I'm pretty much busy all day tomorrow with a wedding. Ugh!

Interesting! I looked at baby pics of some from another breeder....pretty similar, but not exactly like this. What if Birdguy was teasing and sent me a mystery pair of chicks haha! All kidding aside, from what I have seen and been told I think we are ok

They sure are sweet as can be.. and maturing much faster than the wheatens, these are a week younger and are already much bigger. Fun! Red is not on anymore, she is taking deep breaths so she can resist....lol

Last time you guys were goading me into buying I took a day off of here to compose myself

Hope I did not scare ya off Red! But do holler if you cannot resist.

Hahaha, funny

I actually had to get off because my laptop was almost dead, and I was taking care of chickens for a while. And then I remembered the wedding :| Shucks.

What does everybody know about the cream Legbars?  I've read they lay really really blue eggs.  Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the breed

Corvidae (Donna) on here had a bunch of those hatching out earlier this year, Sphinx picked one up (or was it two?) at her house. They were cute! The eggs were not as blue as i thought they would be, I saw some when I was there.....but they were blue ish :) Maybe she has some pics? i cant remember if she posted some on here. You could ask her about them though she had tons of info about those.

I looked into them on a quest for blue eggs. The pics I've seen the Ameraucana are bluer. Is that a word? They are a sex-link so you can tell the Roos at birth. I've not seen an egg in person tho. I got discouraged at the cost. Good Ameraucanas are pricey enough!

It really IS in the closet - or the pantry. No vents in there so the temp is steady. That doesn't mean I can't use it. :D
Who else has declared "done for the season?"

THis is what I meant...I have been teasing Cynthia about her declaration of being done hatching, when you said you had free EE eggs I thought her wheels are gonna be Turning!! haha because I do not know if she can help herself

Lisa, it's looking like I won't be able to get away tomorrow to meet up with ya

I say go ahead and see if Joybells would like Lola. She's such a cutie, but I can't figure out how I'm going to get any time tomorrow, and I don't want you having to bend over backwards. Thanks, though. It was sweet of you to offer

Yes the price of the eggs is really high. Would have turned my hair gray if wasn't already gray. I just wondered. because the blue eggs i'm getting from my Americana seem pretty pale. I wanted to get some really pretty blue eggs. I also had not see a really good Marin egg. when I ordered the olives she also sent 3 marin eggs. I was amazed. One of them is the biggest prettiest egg I have ever seen. Looked like shiny chocolate. I told hubby if it hatches I am keeping that chick. She sent the three purebred marin eggs as a bonus. Her olive eggs were dark and big as well really pretty. I have 2 marins. One isn't laying yet or even close the other is a copper and she lays brown egg not chocolate oness. I wonder if she is a sex link. She has the same color as my black sex link but isn't as big.
