i need to watch their nails better i guess.
The dog did great, I'm sure it hurt, but I felt terrible seeing it bleed for a while. It was a boxer, big boy. What a sweetheart of a dog, not even a grow. She's only had the dog for a week, and she didn't dare cut the nails. I've had them bleed before, but not often, it still makes me feel bad. It's hard when they have the dark nail..can't see the vein. I do my dogs all the time. for a feather to develop it has to have a blood source so at the blood feather stage its like a straw sticking in a vane so that is a huge danger because if it were to break and still have a part in the vane it can kill the bird due to bleeding to death. so knowing how to remove a blood feather is a must because you may have to do it if the bird cant do it its self. as the feather grows it will not be a blood feather and you will be safe. at the blood feather stage it will be very tender and itchy and you want to be careful when handling a bird with blood feathers.![]()
Happy2bhere-Thanks for sharing the fun coop pictures!
Ok so I am heading to Idaho tomorrow and as far as I know I am just bringing cute Polish babies for Sasha and Lisa. Correct me if I am wrong.
My DH says tonight that they will be his. He is loving the Polish babies. His little Elvis he wants to take to the fair lol I might have to hatch some of these myself.......I am trying really hard to be done! Do any of the babies we picked out look frizzly at all?
