Utah!

Birdman, that's so sad. The outdoor cat that lives at my BF's house adopted him less than two months ago. We think that his original owners abandoned him when they moved. He's been a really good mouser for my BF.

Jed, you're welcome! I have seen wild birds eating those berries, too. The turkeys really love them. And my BO is one of the highest-ranking birds in the flock. Most of the other birds actually run away from her when she comes over, because she's bite them if they're in her way. Her nickname is Miss Attitude.

Madchicken, he's a handsome boy! I've never seen a splash rooster/cockerel before.

i read that bo's are a docile breed. all my other bo's are beaten up by the other hens.

I think every breed has it's exceptions. I have heard of RIR's that are at the bottom of the pecking order because they are so timid. Typically, you think of a RIR as a competitive, pushy bird. I know mine is.

I'm legal! My fowl keeping license arrived in the mail today!

Ok, soo...new wheat works tons better/faster! Soaked my new stuff I just bought yesterday, laid it out this morning, and yes! Sprouts already! Now that's what I'm talkin about! I can be excited now. On the other hand, we need to get rid of that wheat downstairs. Too bad to, there is a lot!
