Utah!

Mimi, congrats on the new chicks!

That feral cat situation is really sad. I wish I knew of someone to help.

Lisa, beautiful eggs.

Red, you'll have to see if you can catch your Icelandic in the act.

there is someone selling fodder on ksl, they want $4 for a piece if it. makes me wounder if they actually have sold some.

I thought about doing that on ksl, but wasn't sure if it had been done yet..thanks! Will go check and see how big it is.

Snow Fri. Get those girls ready to be cozy for the cold snap.

Lots of snow coming here....ugh! Still getting them ready. Piled straw bales on the west side of the run to give them a little wind break. I think I should head to visit Cousin Hattie lol-- much more pleasant in her neck of the woods this weekend!

Really? Were on ksl are they selling it? Do they have pictures? Maybe its worth looking into just to see how it can be grown for sale. If someone is selling it then they are growing enough for their own flock for free. This is what we all want right? Our flocks food expense covered plus the bonus of all the free eggs we can eat.

I saw one that had it for sale for the 4 dollars. There were three ads in the section I went to. It was in the hay feed section.. Anyway, two are sold, and one is an ad for a system to grow large amounts of fodder. Nice system, pretty price!
