Thank you very much for your input. It's a shame that such a disease exists. Although there are many that plague the avian species. This one just seems rather nasty. But again thank you for your Input! I take everyone's opinion into hand. Either way it seems there isn't a definitive answer for this one. And is solely up to the flock master. 






alas from what I'm gathering is that sick birds have to go in order to protect the healthiest. And I do want to have a broody raise chicks. My old flock my mother had raised chicks all the time I always looked forward to those little peepers and the mamma showing them the ropes. I'm certainly leaning twords not vaccinating and just making sure they are up to par (immune system) and keeping the coop as clean as possible even though I know they can certainly still contract the disease. But none the less a flock master father to be can only hope for the best
