Just an update...nothing arrived today....Fudgie did you have a tracker number on it ?

I'm very sad that my person hasn't gotten her gift yet. And I know she's anxious about it. Makes me feel bad.
Today is the 8th day since I mailed it.

I didn't get a tracking number on mine. I did priority mail, but just didn't think about adding the tracking option. At 7:30 in the morning after over a week of being ill with a sinus infection my brain just wasn't hitting all cylinders.

And now my stupid sinus infection is coming back. My throat aches, ears are popping and I woke up covered in sweat with a major headache and nose all clogged up.

When I got to work I discovered the power is partially out. So I have computer but no lights. Phone access but no intercomm.
I am on the internet by candlelight, using a handheld radio to tell people what line their calls are on. And it's raining like heck and cold out, but no heat in the building.
It's 'one of those days' and I'd bet $ that my recipient doesn't get her gift again today. It's just that kind of day/week/month.
If by 6pm I don't get good news about gift arrival, I will contact my person, break the secret, and apologize, 'kay?

PRETTY EGGS!!! Hey, I don't think you can track overseas? I used to send stuff to a friend that lives in Holand and the PO said it was pointless cuz they don't use the same "system" as the US

I always got nervous cuz the boxes would get opened all the time too
