TSC is good when you are just getting started or don't care which breeds you get. I like to get some of the more colorful and/or exotic chicks from online and some of the more common ones from TSC. However, I refusing to step foot inside a TSC until after I get my tax returns. I would go broke on chicks otherwise. LOL!
The hardest part is waiting. My last hatch (the one immediately before this one) was a total failure. I had 2 dozen eggs to start, only five made it into lockdown, and none hatched. I was so disappointed I almost gave up hatching. You should have much better luck than I did.

Nothing in mine either! Hoping I haven't killed them all when the turner stopped working, although I did see some movement when I did a final candle at lockdown. 20 eggs awaiting. Been pretty good at temps, but this morning's acrtic front has it lower than usual, had to adjust. Hoping they are just late.
