Valentines Day chicks

It's possible it's also because it's darker on the side. The chicks will be a lot less active when there isn't light. As a matter of fact, when I have chicks that get too interested in each others toes before I can open the incubator I just turn the light off and most of them will just sleep.

Thats my cue to stop watching them with a light lol. I know I ordered jumbo’s but I was surprised that they were so big,I couldn’t use both rows of the quail racks. Glad I didn’t order 100...

Haha, it won't hurt to keep peeking. I was just being hopeful for the sleepy baby in the corner. I take so many pictures while the chicks are hatching that it's probably like a strobe light. :lau

I swear some of them have shot looks my way for it. How do you get such good pics?

I know! They're totally asking for it by looking so cute.

This chick was in one of my Nurture Right 360 incubators, the clear plastic surround makes for easy viewing and photographing.

I also have an IncuView, and my newest addition is a Brinsea Mini II advance. I have a problem, lol, I've slowly sold or given away all of the incubators that don't allow me to have a clear view of what's happening, for now I still have my Hovabator 1602N as well, but such tiny windows!
