yeah not everyone. It was never like that for my family growing up. or my children now. In fact I have tried to make tradition. Christ was given 3 gifts, my children only get 3 gifts from us,  as a symbol of the story.  And its not a big thing all the time, in fact my kids git gifts all year long.  And we don't have cable or satelite TV so they don;t get to see all the commercial marketing to youngins. Movies only of a little bit of Hulu.

I didn't say everyone. Chic CAN, your family is my favorite family on this website, you raise your kids so well! It has always been so much fun listening to your family stories. You're so awesome
