valentines day! wanna hear your cards.

Hey yal. Valentines day is just around the corner and I like to look at old valentines from the last few years and I'd like to share a few and maybe tell about a few blunders to.

The most hilarious card I've ever got was from a guy whose dad worked at a morgue and the card that he gave me said ...
...The roses of red and the violets of blue were left at the funeral home so I'll give them to you.


And I'll never forget the time I sent a mushy gushy card to the wrong guy. I put the card in the wrong envelope and believe me,I turned the color of valentines day.ugh.

The best Valentines..which was probably the first and last i ever really got in all honesty was...


when i was 19 my boyfriend got me 2 dozen roses, a white tiger stuffed animal with a heart collar, chocolates, and so many balloons you could barely see the room, one balloon was a huge heart and it had arms and legs and a face, and a silver cuff bracelet with a pretty pink stone that he saw me looking at at the antique mall. That was a really nice suprise.

since then i have to say..... no, i guess there isn't really anything for me to have to say.

GASP! DAD!!!!! ha ha ha...and that was before i was born and they kept the card in my dad's keepsake files. ha ha ha.

luckily, i've never encountered a valentines day card(i avoid those occassions like the plague)... but i once sent my best friend a bday card that had two pigeons sitting on a tree banch, and a guy is walking below them.. one of the pigeons says to the other "you thinking what im thinking?"... i guess that could apply to vday
