I've been raising Coturnix quail for a while so I know the quail basics, but I have just acquired a pair of Valley Quail and was wondering if they have any specific requirements. I temporarily have them in a covered all wire rabbit cage; 2' X 3' X 1.5' high. I realize they will need something more substantial for winter (In upstate NY... very cold/damp) so any suggestions for the new construction project would be greatly appreciated. I feed my Coturnix Purina gamebird layer 25%.
