Not sure if this is the right forum to post this but:
OK - so far I've seen the South end of a frog going down the North end of one of my pullets & the other day I saw one pecking at something in the coop and removed a pecked-to-death mole.
I have to assume it's okay for them to eat these things as I cannot patrol the henyard 24/7 to enforce this variation of the 5-second Rule: If it does not come from the Layena bag, don't eat it.
I know they eat bugs, worms & whatever - it's just the two examples of Chicken Carryout above ooged me out just a bit.
