And then stone her?

The crazy thing is....These people aren't hardened criminals, no, they are Housewives and School Marms, and they aren't doing it for money, because no one is turning a real profit selling hatching eggs at $8.00 dozen, but something is going amiss inside of their twisted little minds. It is happening more and more often, and I think its high time we all took a look in the mirror and try and figure out what it is about us and our society which is driving these heretofore good citizens down the wrong path!

Well said!

Whether this person is a member of the BYC or not, it still applies to everyone!

I would still much rather buy eggs from a BYC member than from Ebay. With ebay, all you have is feedback, which is worth the paper its written on. Too TOO many people will not leave negative feedback, even if its warranted. I don't know why. At least here, if I see some eggs that Im interested in, I can not only check feedback, but I can also check back on the person's posts, which give you a very good idea of who you are dealing with. I can also see who else they have sold to, and contacted those buyers. Ive done that before, and Ive been contacted myself from BYCers who wanted to know if I was pleased with egg purchases. With Ebay, you are dealing with a fake name and thats that.

And no one here would dare post a photo that wasnt theirs. They'd be tied to a stake and plucked.

Ive never sold eggs on ebay, but I have used someone elses picture when listing on ebay. Sometimes it a Stock Photo from amazon.com or somewhere else. I always note it in the ad though. I dont have a camera.

Mainly its books and stuff that I sell, so nothing too bad. But like I said, I ALWAYS state in the ad its not the actual photo of the item that is being sold. Now if I were selling eggs, then that would be a different story. I would just not do it! I would wait till I got a camera so they were of the birds that I have.

Maybe her camera didn't work or maybe she doesnt have one, It is hard to get I good picture of a moving chicken.
and I sell many things on eBay, almost everyone is honest and is just trying to make some money in this recession.
It is the few dishonest people that make everyone else look bad.
She was selling the Egg's not the chicken it is not a fraud.

I should have left negative feedback on my one and only purchase of eggs on BYC but I didn't. Mostly because you don't know if you are dealing with an adult or not, and if they are even aware of their mistake. In my case the six eggs where shipped unwrapped in a box with little to no padding, they all busted inside the plastic bag they were in. And someone did catch a seller on BST of posting pics from Europe of show birds that was not theirs.

This is a wonderful site but we have just as much chance of being wronged on here as on Ebay.
