Vent about Ungrateful People!

That is so most of my soon to be EX friends, and my sister....

They treat me as if I owe them something... like my help and friendship isn't good enough without the entitlement they deem themselves needed to have.

I have some cousins like that; you go take them somewhere, they order the most expensive thing on the menu (and if it's a cheap fast-food joint, you bet they'll order at least three things to make sure it's more expensive,) argue amongst themselves about where I should take them next, usually somewhere way expensive, and then get mad at me when I don't take them to three differant places so they can all do their own thing. Next time I'm going to plan something out, if they like it they can go, if they don't they can stay home, and if they go and b*tch about it, I'll just let them walk home lol. They're not little kids (well one is pretty young, but even he's old enough to know better) they're 8, 14, and 17, and all of them think that everybody owes them everything while they sit on their butt's and do nothing but play video games all day. I don't know how my uncle deals with it (only the 8 year old's his) and his wife's worse than the kids are by a long shot. Oh well, I just needed to rant lol. Sorry.

Im dealing with this now. Its my fault for being nice and opening my mouth and saying things(not bad things). I think I learned my lesson on that now, and that its from a friend.....

Thank you again, guys. I really needed to vent, so thank you for listening. It's good to know that other people have been there and understand what I am talking about. Oh well, life will go on. You just have to try to focus on the positive. I have so much to be thankful for. Some of my recent experiences do make me appreciate the good, honest people even more.

It's like the old saying "No good deed goes unpunished". I used to mentor people getting into dog showing and breeding. Same thing different faces, everyone wants to be in the big time right away. No paying their dues, learning from the ground up. Want it NOW!! After 40 years I have to admit I just don't want to get kicked in the butt anymore. I still try to help out (even here I post to help out if I can), but I'm just not leaving myself open to the drama anymore. Many people will try to profit off others hard work, they feel entitled and too bad for anyone else. Such a shame. When TSHTF I hope they can read the books to figure out what they should have learned.

Unfortunately people like that rarely LEARN from anything.

They are the CHOSEN ONES and all the rest of us are here to serve their purpose.

Kind of like CATS, except they don't come furry soft with a purr. They come at you with a smile on their face while the hide the knife for YOUR back behind theirs.

I know that it is easier said then done, but try to pity them. They deserve our pity, because when you treat people like that how many friends can you really have. I'm voting for 0 and that's sad.
