Hello!
New chicken owner here. I have four hens and this morning, I went to unlock them and I noticed that my Gingerham has a very pale comb compared to the others. My chickens’ combs are usually bright red so I was pretty concerned at this sudden change. I went inside to grab my phone so I could take pictures and get a closer look at her comb and I noticed white spots on three of my chickens’ comb (including the one with the pale comb and wattles). I checked their feathers and there were no signs of mites or lice.
While I was busy fussing over my other three chickens, my Leghorn was laying her egg. I went over to her answer I saw a big lump under her vent (I’ll attach a picture) with yellow-ish discharge and she was walking like a penguin. I went inside for three to five minutes and the lump was gone. She seemed fine after that and I don’t know what happened.
I will keep an eye on them and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
