I believe she was this year's hatch and hasn't begun laying yet. I treated it as a prolapsed vent and so far I got it back in. It was attached to her inside so I was afraid to pull on it. Was she able to expel that? To me it looks like a soft shell membrane. You may need to pull gently when she has a contraction/pushes to help her get that out.
