Vent problems. Need some advice

I hope so too. Every sling I put on her she just starts acting weird and falling all over the place till I take it off. Can get her to sit still enough for the hanging sling. She wouldn't even eat tomatoes tonight! ( or anything else)She just stands there. I know she's frustrated. Understandable my husband is frustrated too

I noticed she keeps contacting to muscles in that area. Weird. Almost like she's pushing it out but I don't think she is

If you haven't already, Google some pictures of vent gleet. If that's the kind of discharge you have been seeing, then you may want to look into treating that also. Urates will look a bit different from the gleet.

Vent fleet was my first thought when I noticed something was wrong until I saw the prolapse's

Right. I just wondered if maybe she had gleet along with the prolapse, because you kept mentioning that she had a lot of white discharge on her bottom. My hen had a little discharge, but not very much, and it pretty much stopped appearing after a few days.

I don't think tsc has anything for vent gleet. I'm going to try to find it online though not sure of a legitimate place to look. I wonder if the antibiotics will help that. It seems like there is powder for that

She seems to have eaten her half a hard boiled egg and cut up plum tomatoes today just got home from work and it bath time. Her prolapse stayed in as of this morning so I hope in a few minutes when I get her out it's still in!

She had yoghurt once and spent 15 minutes wiping her beak on the towel and won't try it again

Vent gleet is usually caused by a yeast infection. Antibiotics won't get rid of that. You can use the probiotic capsules that are made for humans for your hen, since she doesn't care for yogurt. You can sprinkle the powder on whatever she's eating, if she won't eat a capsule. You can also mix the powder with her booty medicine. I'm sorry if I'm annoying, I just feel bad that you and your hen are going through this and now I'm emotionally invested, as weird as that might sound.
