VENT PROLAPSED HEN!!! PLEASE HELP I HEARD A POP AND STUFF SPILLED OUT THERE IS BLOOD EVERYWHERE

What is wrong with her is this normal for vent prolapse? Was she egg bound and how do I put her down I cannot do it I will have to ask someone else can I wait till morning?
This is not a prolapse, something has gone horribly wrong, those are her intestines. She will not last til morning. I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry this has happened but what you are being told is correct. You need to put this poor bird down immediately. The broomstick method is quickest and surest. Enter it in the search area at the top of your screen. Good luck.

Any idea how this happened? Was she egg bound? My dad is going to put her down and we will bury her in the morning. We have never experienced a chicken with vent prolapse before and we have only had them for a little over a year.

If she was egg bound and the egg went bad it might have exploded inside her tearing her vent and releasing her intestines.... All the anti bacterial spray will not save this hen

When your dad puts her down you should open the body up and take clear pictures.
You will learn something for sure and you will see what caused it.

I think you missed a post or two somewhere along the way.

The bird prolapsed and then it exploded and it's guts came out.
I skimmed, so may have missed some things.
The first photo looks very alarming, and I agree, that does not look like something she can recover from.
If it were my hen, and the first photo is correct I would put her down.

Op, I did look back and read more of the posts, I didn't throughly read everything originally. I think you need to euthanize this bird. Its the hardest decision we have to make as chicken keepers, and impossible decision, but its the kindest thing in this situation.

I'm so sorry, this is very tragic.
This, whatever it is, was caused by some kind of blockage. Yes, possibly egg binding, likely some kind of reproductive issue. If you want to know exactly what, preforming a necropsy will tell you.
