very computer illiterate , please help !

I got a digital camera for christmas and have installed the windows program to show my pictures . I don't know how to even begin to be able to post pics up here . It's a sony cyber shot . Anyone out there with any info ? It would be greatly appreciated !

Can't help you with your particular camera and getting the pics uploaded to your computer (all I have to do with mine is plug the camera into the computer, go to my computer, go to the removable drive folder (either the "E" or "F" drive), and the pics are there....then I save them to a folder I create on my desktop 'till I do something else with them) but once you figure that part out you'll need to upload the pictures to an online service like www.photobucket.com . It's pretty easy; just create a free account and then the site pretty much walks you through uploading the pics to your online "album". From there all you do is copy the "img" link for the pic you want to post and then paste that link into your message here on BYC.

It really is easy! You can do it!
