I got mine last June? or around there and I'm still very happy with my birds from Mt Healthy also. They charge a little extra but I think it's worth it.

My Mt. Healthy chicks are supposed to ship today

Does anyone know if I will get tracking info or something? Or do I just call the post office each morning until they arrive? (Sorry if dumb questions. Never ordered chicks direct before!)

They sent me an email the day they shipped- I then received a phone call from my post office that they were there the next day!! I am sure if you call them they can give you further details on arrival.

So exciting!! What breeds did you get?

Hi, we ordered from Mt Healthy. They arrived the day after they were shipped. I am sure it depends on where you are in the US. got a call from the post office early in the morning, 7AM, and we went over and got them.

We ordered 10 rare pullet's, we received 11. They are a little over 2 weeks old and doing really well. I had some issues with pasty butt the first week but once I stopped the medicated feed, the pasty butt stopped. That could be coincidence, I don't know. They are happy, healthy and chirping away. They are going to get their first field trip today since the weather is so nice. My husband made me a 4 foot high fenced area that I am going to take them out to, they are going to love it.

We got 10 of the “super rare” assortment (thats not the exact name, but close enough). That’s what they had available for the ship date we wanted . Kind of extra exciting that its a surprise!

Thats good to know that it could very well be tomorrow - I had that in my head as possible but unlikely.

Hmmm just noticed your email came in the morning. Wonder if I should be worried I haven’t seen one yet. Or maybe the fill the “assortment” orders later in the day since they probably get the leftovers .
