Don't feel too badly, we all get excited, and second-guess our decisions. If they lay eggs, hou have girls. Wake you just before sunrise with the crowing, you have a rooster!

I started out wanting 2, which turned into 4, which somehow turned into 6.....and now we're up to 9!

I was looking for a couple of layers to add to my 4 layers (3 of which refuse to lay) and a Polish roo to be with my 2 over sexed frantic Polish hens. What did I get? 25 day old mixed pullet chicks! And I have 2 weeks to build a brooder and get things ready. Talk about impulsive!

Can't help you with age, breed or sex, so I guess I'm pretty useless there, but I fully understand why you bought your new babies! Congrats and have fun.

The dark one looks like a Americania{ Easter Egg}, the beige one looks like a Buff Opr., I have to look again but the white one has dark leg and could be a EE as well. Welcome to BYC. You are not crazy. Just look at the bright side you are just that much closer to haveing eggs.
