Very random question, but how fast can you type?

ray's two cents :

Okay, why not do it now. I feel like it.

And we're off! I haven't a clue what I'm doing wind whatever I can't hear properly I can't multitask this is terrible I can't think of anything coherent to say, departing traffic what what is going on? oh well it's the jolly guy who says that things just keep getting better and better! I think I agree with him! Life is good! I'm trying to look at the clock and type at the same time. my back aches doing this. Haha

... okay. Just finished the Haha. Didn't even get to put a full stop in.

Ah, that's 80. Not bad for half leaning over trying to see the clock in the corner of my screen.

Haha its eaiser if you take a test as it counts your accuracy aswell, there is a link i posted before, or there is this one http://www.careerstep.com/free-typing-test that also tells you your Gross words per minute.

Yep, I just took the test. I did Dorothy and her riveting description of her house.

I got 70, no mistakes. Not bad.

My mother's a little like that. She always gets me to send her texts for her. Suits me fine, I don't have a phone so I probably need the practise.

I suppose it does. There were lots of words in Dorothy that I barely knew how to spell.

Oh, and I am actually multitasking, I kept trying to type out the words of what I'm listening to

i do that alot, i'll be trying to type up an assignment... and someone will start talking to me, and then some of the words they say slip into what im typing.. i glare at them and tell them to go away
lol.png
its why i cant listen to music when im typing up assignments, don't need the lyrics getting in there Haha.

It happens with adverts as well. Words like 'deal', 'sale' and 'future' tend to slip into my essays when I try to watch TV and do assignments at the same time.

I got 72 for the second typing test. I skipped a line so had to go back and delete it though.

Depending on what stage of schooling you are in, if your school offer's a business administration class, i would take it as it would help you speed up your typing even more-so, i used to type 50wpm, after a year in that class i'm up to 70WPM. Handy skill typing is, a good thing to put on a resume too.

Yeah, I don't think my school does a business course, although that'd be pretty cool to have under my belt.

I think these past few months on BYC have giving me more typing practise than I've had all my life.

There is also CIT/TAFE classes on it (ur in Australia right?

)
It is a good thing to have, especially if your planning on doing a job after school that requires typing skills and other office skills.
