Very random question, but how fast can you type?

After high school it was around 65 WPM. I don't know what is mine now but it is easier to type than the manual or electric typewriter.

I just took a test and got 66wpm. I need to get over the bad habit of only using the left shift key.

Well my key boarding class was 35 I think. I probably typed faster but that was what I needed to get an A.

Now I can type real fast as long as you don't want things spelled right.

I really need to concentrate to get things right.

My typing speed is directly related to how angry I am at the time.

Usually about 25 to 35 WPM normally.

Last time I was time-tested for a job, I timed at 122 wpm with 2 errors & they took of 5 wpm for each error, netting me 112 wpm. That was in January of 2000.

I've been transcribing my entire adult life ... just started into my 28th year as an MT.

Well, now I'm in awe. I took that test a few times, and got about 70 wpm each time with between 2 and 8 errors. The last time I was tested was over ten years ago, and I was a bit higher, but not as high as some of the super stars here. I bow to you.
