Sadly she passed away a few days later- The vet gave her treatment, but it didn't help. We still don't know what caused it.

Sorry that you lost her. It is hard to lose them, but reproductive disorders and complications of crop problems are very common in chickens several years old and older. Whenever I lose a hen, I try to do a necropsy (autopsy) to look at the abdominal organs. This helps to know what the problem is, and reproductive problems and cancer usually can be recognized. Taking pictures when that is done can be shared her on threads for opinions.
