Very small eggs

one of our sexlinks lays very small eggs, AT NITE!, sitting
on the roost, one didn't have a proper shell but a thin membrane.

x2 If she is a new layer, her body doesn't have it all figured out yet, so she may lay at night as well as laying wonky eggs.
Also if she is new, she probably doesn't know where to lay. I would suggest placing some fake eggs, or marked eggs, in the nesting boxes to encourage her to lay there.

Yes, common with new layers...
....the softies must 'feel' more like a poop than an egg so they are dropped wherever.
