Very sweet/strange turkey

In the evenings I like to spend at least an hour or so sitting outside with the critters, well for the last 3 nights one of my girls has come upto me and started to preen my legs making really soft cooing noises, last night I had on long pants and she kept pecking at my pants until I pulled the pant legs up and then she started preening away.Has anybody else had this happen? It is really sweet I think?lol

I have a Cochin hen that does that to me.

Doesn't sound all that strange to me. When my Slate hen, Jenny, was younger, she'd start to preen my hand and arm when I stroked her back.

Yes this girl is very sweet, when we are outside she wants nothing to do with the others turkeys, she would rather be with us. She does make it a little hard to do some things like weeding because she wants to lay right beside me so I have to scoot her over when I need to move. I've never had a bird this people friendly, I'll admit it, I love her
