I'm in a unique position. I have 6 laying hens that currently live in a very nice coop/run. I need to relocate them for all of 5 days. I'm trying to figure out the best (easy > cost) way to do this. We have a friend that lives nearby that is willing to let us use their backyard. We live in the city so we just want to keep them protected from animals like racoons, cats, etc. These are the ideas I've come up with but I wanted to see if anyone else had any better ideas.
The tent would be the easiest - I don't mind purchasing one. Building a run/coop would be the safest for them probably but most time consuming and difficult to transport/remove when finished.

I liked the temporary run. Either thing should work. The tent may be the less safe, and possibly more troubling if it's flapping around due to any wind. Your birds will be stressed by the move so keeping stress over all lower is a good idea.

I would go with the chicken tractor made with 1/2 " hardware cloth .. you can always use it later to isolate a sick bird or broody

coons tore up the hunting blind on my property..only thing in there was an empty granola wrapper.. I would not go with a tent.

coons rolled a dog crate around until they got it open, container of sunflower seeds in there

this has no bottom and is lightweight, they can flip it .. or they can reach through and grab a bird, removing it in pieces:
