Very thin hen

I have a few questions for one of my thin hens.

The flock had what we think was tapeworms and we wormed them yesterday with praziquantel.

The problem is one of my hens who was 5.1/5.2 pounds 12-14 days ago is now at 4.6/4.7 today.

She also decided to go broody a few days ago and we’re trying to break the trance bc of how thin she’s gotten.

But now she’s in broody mode and making it harder for her to drink water and such.

Her crop has been full as well since yesterday but did take some broody poops.


She’s a buff Orpington & 2 years old

You should have their poop checked so you can use the right wormer for whatever they have. My vet will send away for me even though they don’t treat fowl. Break the broody, take her off the nest and put her in a crate with no bedding. Put a fan on her if necessary.
