I am 95% sure this came from 2 yr old leghorn .. she is acting perfect, eating and drinking and even layed an egg this morning. Any thoughts??

Thanks everyone!

Weird poop without a behavior change to go with it is merely a warning sign to keep an eye on this chicken for further developments. Continue to monitor her poop, and if she begins to act lethargic, then you can start being concerned.

A fecal float test can usually be done by most vets. If you are concerned she could have worms, this would tell you one way or the other as well as what kind of parasites you're dealing with. I recommend doing this for your peace of mind.

Thanks for always replying!

I would be curious about what she has had access to forage wise? Do they free range? I agree with @azygous that one odd poop is not in itself cause for concern but a trigger to monitor for other signs of illness. The green is such a pretty colour I would be inclined to think she found some early spring shoots and gorged on them.

I looked at the poop chart.. it looks like coccidiosis with out the blood?! Should I start meds?
