Vet is stumped! Why are my hens having so much trouble??

I will ask them! Thank you! They didn’t mention anything like that. I can do distilled water. Will have to figure out the rest.
I am curious now if I should do extra days of antibiotics. The hen with the most trouble is done in 4-5 days. Thoughts?

You paid good money at the vet, so follow their recommendations.

They are admittedly less experienced with chickens than other exotic pets. So I’m definitely going to talk to them bc it might be something they’re not as used to thinking about.

Always good to ask them questions, but if they treat reptiles I'm sure they're aware of drug interactions between calcium and antibiotics.

Thanks for sharing that link. It’s more informative than anything else I’ve read. It gave me a little bit of hope bc hers didn’t have much pus to speak of. Just wrinkled up shell. So I’m hoping we caught the infection in time to help her.
