Vets won't see/treat chicken or even sell needles for Pen G what a mess

Here's a pic I took last night of her eating yogurt off of my daughtes fingers

She's looking well in this photo. Must be her most excellent nurse I see tending to her.

As a side note, I went to TSC in Laurens, SC and found a nice assortment of syringes and needles neatly packaged hanging in the livestock section. I wonder if your state/county restricts the sale of syringes?

It might. I will go there and check. Over the phone they said the didn't. I live in Massachusetts and I know that in the past you couldn't buy needles steroid users would drive to RI to buy them. I know that some pharmacies now give needles to drug users so they don't spread disease... So if I shoot heroine I can get needles but if I want to save my chicken I have to jump through hoops.

On another note, One of my Ameraucana's has a bump on it's foot. Here's a pic. Is this normal?

Mail order may not work either if the state regulates the sale of syringes. The state knows best.

Maybe you can dress up like a big chicken and tell the pharmacist you are a drug user.

<----- Look, it worked for me.

Any luck on the syringes yet?
The bump is the start of bumblefoot. If the bird is limping then you will need to deal with it, but if the bird is fine then let it go until she starts to be symptomatic.
