Solved Video Playback(Youtube) Problem with FIX!

The message says that it is not in a supported file format. It is likely encoded in a format that chrome can't render in html 5.

I can't get the video to play on my tablet with 7.1 and chrome. It does play on the same tablet with firefox so the problem is not with Android 7 but with chrome

No because there are the newest released Chrome versions here on this thread that will not play it on Android 7.1 but the newest released Chrome will play it on Android 8.1

BYC lets you upload you tube or vimeo by default. It seems like vimeo works better

That’s what I’m curious about. We’ve settled it’s an app and chrome issue that can’t really be solved (besides getting another browser) but I’m still wondering what sets the problem videos apart.
I read on a jargon filled coding forum that sometimes HTML5 audio files get corrupted or something and if that is the problem, then having the uploader mute their YouTube video (so it has no audio file at all, maybe you can do that in the upload settings) can solve it.

I can't find an option on the YouTube app to mute this video.
I will do it from my computer asap.
