I did find the very egg cutter in the UK, for £15, but the shop wants £9 postage and £25($40) is too much, even thought the design is beautiful and I would have loved to own it.

So, I tried my kitchen scissors which have dip in the blade for catching round things like bones easier as they otherwise would slip on a straight blade and lo and behold, not a totally clean cut, but, useful enough!

I didn't see the video but people in the US (or at least in Florida) should check their local restaurant supply store. The usually have egg cutters for around $9-$13. I saw them before I had quail and thought it was the most ridiculous thing...guess who's about to go buy some ...
