Raspberry layed an egg today, I figured she was laying before but wasn't sure.

I cleaned the coop, got done after the chickens would've liked to go in. I'm not sure if they were happy it was clean or just happy to be in and sleeping.

Wisteria was up top by the nesting boxes and when I'd bend over she would hop on my back, I think she would've liked to roost there.

Oh, and here's a picture of Spice on her roost.

Marshmallows new feathers are starting to show, and she's getting softer.

Huckleberry just crowed! I have never heard him crow before! Him and Pumpkin are crowing back and forth. It sounds strange, or maybe I'm just used to Pumpkins crow.

Huckleberry is learning to be quite the gentleman. Although when he mates the hens scream and he's kinda clumsy. Usually let's go before he even gets on. Raspberry likes Pumpkin better, she's started hanging out with his flock.

A couple nights ago I noticed spice was breathing funny sounds through her nose, she seemed okay otherwise so I forgot about it. Today I noticed marshmallow was breathing funny through her nose too and one of her eyes was getting little bubbles in it. I checked spice again and she was breathing fine. Marshmallow stopped breathing funny after a little bit too.

I looked up the symptoms and found this:

:( I'm going to see if we have any apple cider vinegar she can have.

I put some apple cider vinegar in marshmallows water. She drank some then took a step back and shook her head like "woah!" Then she drank a little more and shook her head, then she drank again and didn't shake her head. I think she got used to it, but she is drinking it so that's good.
Also when I gave her it she seemed perfectly normal but I figured it was good for her anyway.

I though for sure Raspberry was broody yesterday, she was all puffed up and screaming and pecking and when I put my hand under her she'd do the broody egg scoot. When I lifted her out of the nest and set her down she sat there all puffed up and did the broody egg scoot there too. But I put her back and left and when I came back there was an egg and she was gone. It is really hard to tell if she's broody or not.

Also, how often do you guys go on BYC? I'm kinda starting to feel like I don't have any subscribers. :(
