Raspberry has been hanging out with pumpkin and Peebles just started. So I put Huckleberry, raspberry, snowberry, pebbles, and wisteria in a pen together. Huckleberry is almost too much of a gentleman now, I don't know if he's getting the job done. Pebbles and Raspberry are the only ones that lay, and pebbles stopped, I think she's molting?

Huckleberry is faster than me now. I used to be able to catch him by herding him away from the coop and away from the chicken and eventually he would turn around. Now he is faster than me and can outrun me when he tries to get past me. Eventually I caught him in the coop and put his harness and leash on. Once he figured out he couldn't get away he was really good and kept coming to me. When I took his leash off though he wouldn't come to me and ran away. It was dusk so I was like fine. If you won't come to me I'll lock you out of the coop. (All the other chickens were in) so I did. And I waited to see if he would come to me but he didn't so I left and did horse chores and came back later. When he saw me he came walking over to me right away and I squatted down and he buried his head in my legs. Then I told him he was a good boy and took him in the coop and gave him some corn.

We only got one egg today.

I made another roost because Peanut keeps wanting to sleep where Dot is so I made Dot a new roost.

I am already trying to decide who I will breed with who in the spring. I definitely want huckleberry and marshmallow to breed. Snowberry looks like she has yellow or green eyes now, I've never noticed them before. Sweetie likes huckleberry maybe I'll breed them. And I'll breed Dot with pumpkin to hopefully get more green eyed chickens.
And huckleberry with pebbles cuz she is so fluffy and the babies will be sex linked
