Thank you! And oh yah I forgot to say I put the chick back before I left, I didn't want to leave them unsupervised and I didn't think she had been broody long enough.
I have been gone all day so we'll see if she is still on the nest when I get back

Dot was off the nest.
My favorite Cochin bantam chick is very weak, I don't know if she is eating or drinking!

I made her drink and fed her two crumbles of food, I will feed her more later. Right now I have to do chores and I am keeping her warm.

She keeps waking up and cheeping then I put my hand in there and she goes back to sleep.

Oh I see, good idea. Can you put the chick by food, and dip her beak into the water to show her again? And make sure she is warm enough.

Missed your latest post, thats good she got water and a little food into her. Maybe you could put one more healthy chick in with her so she isn't so frightened?

The healthy chick just stands there peeping. She started gasping for air, I don't know what to do! I brought her inside and am holding her at an angle she can breathe better

I don't think she was eating or drinking, she about four or five days old
