I have heard that, too. I need to find another treat (bribe) for when I pick up their eggs. Amy Nadine on the South Carolina thread said she makes a slightly fermented oat treat for her birds. Amy said she covers the whole oats in water and lets it sit for three days. My adult chickens ate the whole oats just fine, but the little ones were not thrilled.

I wonder where I could buy frozen green peas in bulk? I hear chickens and ducks go wild for them.

Frozen peas ! I bet they would love it

Yes the dates have been set already. They work it out at the beginging of the year. Now there are some at the Charlottsville TSC that are not set dates that a friend of mine hosts but she puts up alot of ads so people know. She also puts on Craigslist and updates it until the swap.Harrisonburg TSC is a new one and it's this weekend. It will be a very good spot to both buy and sell as the people there are really excited about it.Expo land is also this weekend.

I think the Polish that I bought from you are the most stunning birds I own ! I just love them . I named the roo Tony after Tony Soprano ,the choc is Meadow, and the other pullet is Carmilla (sp)
Now I have just one small problem .I need another ROO! I guess he can be named Paulie. LOL.. Both of mine are frizzles and my little pullet is also.
I am very happy with all my babies
