I have the choc and a white crested black pullet and a white crested black frizzle roo.So that's why I am looking for a smooth roo for the choc. She is just so sweet .I pick her up everyday .The boy still screams

but not as bad . I have to laugh every time he does it.
Sounds to me like you need me to come and take some of those off your hands and the sooner the better

Have to get a batch together (polish) for a lady in upstate ny...she has been waiting for a month...i need to keep a wc black and a choc roo (smooth) for my flock..will take a look in brooder and see what i have...just started hatching wc blues from my wc black girls with my splash roo over them..will have smooth and frizzled..they make very nice chicks..worse case u can put her in with my wc choc cuckoo for a day or two once she starts laying...that will keep her fertile for a few weeks...i'll check with my buddy Jeremy for a roo as well.

So just wondering if anyone in the Va area has some naked necks? I would like to have some. I just found out today that I may have a rooster, I really thought he was a she! So show me your photos!

I know there are some breeders here in Va. Maybe they will post and let you know where to find some. They are cool birds and I have heard that they lay really well even through summer.

How dumb of me . I meant winter

Well, Gilmanor is over for another season. It was great and a real temptation to bring lots of new critters home. There were chickens of every breed and color, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas, peacocks and a bunch of cockatiels and parakeets. There were also a lot of beautiful pigeons, lots of goats, pigs, and puppies. In addition, someone was selling mouthwatering jellies, beautiful jewelry and there was a huge selection of cages and coops available.

Who all was there?

Bay's best feeds sold there 24/7. You can go there anytime day or night and buy feed. You don't even have to pay tax .It's good clean feed and and cheaper than TSC and SS.my birds love it and I can go on Sunday and buy them good wholesome food.I am impressed
Glad I went and found out about it.Oh yea ,I sent hubby to buy some of the wine jelly, but the dummy came back with apple butter ,watermelon, and apple peach jelly.Maybe next year I will get some.Little afraid of the apple peach because it's runny.Never seen runny jelly before
