I can't imagine trying to fill this bator up at one time. I can't imagine 70-90 eggs and a high % hatch...

I am just not equipped to handle that # of birds. lol

Hahhahaa! I know what you mean, I had been hatching a few at a time. Now I have brooders set up outside in the silkie house, otherwise I wouldn't be able to either. The dust alone would kill me

Well, I've got 98 eggs going right now. 16 Barred Rocks, 52 Delawares, and 30 New Hampshires. I've got 3 weeks to build another brooder to handle them all. Hopefully most of them will be sold before I need to move them into a grow out pen.

I have two so far that are keepers. The rest I am going to sell, and like you ,hopefully before the grow out pen.

Does anyone have info on the gilmar swap, if i have extras out of what im hatching, i might take some only wanna keep like quads, gonna be hathcing 40 or what ever hatch then more mar 12 start so chicks would be 4-8 weeks old

Gilmanor swap will be May 5th. You don't need to sign up, just show up and they'll charge $10 for your space you sell from. From what I understand you need to get there early as it's first come first serve. This is the first year I'll be doing it too so I can't give you any experienced advice.
