well, until i either get a sissy bar/luggage rack (to tie a box/carrier to) or a trailer to pull behind, i won't know. LOL

well, today was my first day of work. LOOOONG day. LOL   then again, it started at the DMV at 8am to get my motorcycle titled, then to the hubby's work to swap vehicles (he's working on the exploder), then up the interstate from Roanoke to Christiansburg by 11:30. off at 8:30, home by 9.

but the good news is, i'll get my exploder back tomorrow, the brakes, tires and oil filter have been ordered for the bike, and now I'm researching body shops that do GOOD paint jobs. and find a non-dented tank to paint.

Exploder? Explorer? Sounds like you had a busy day. has it been less hectic lately? hey, does anyone ever bring kittens to chicken swaps? I'm wanting a fluffy/long haired female kitten, and Craigslist is a joke. I've sent like 10+ emails about kittens and gotten an answer back from only 2 pple.

today is day 5 at work. training is going well. but the work week is messed up. starts on Saturday, so this week I worked mon-fri, the next 3 weeks are sat, tues-fri with sunday Monday off. so 6 days in a row. bleh.

I've seen a few kittens here and there, but not often.

@ki4got wow, those are different hours! Hope it continues to go well for you. I have a full time job right here in my home... Whew. It can be exhausting some times, and yes, i know about weird hours. Lol! (A job as a mother can b tough!)

About the cats... I don't really NEED another cat. I kinda gave up on that idea. Lol. probably just as well... I'd rather spend that money on more chickens.

Wow. Next to no one is here at the TSC in Martinsville.
A woman was just at my booth and I am only selling pairs of Cochin Bantams. She wants production white or red pullets. She needed at least a dozen. No one here to sell her a dozen female chicks, pullets or hens. Too bad, bc a woman was here the first two hours with chicks and pullets but she packed up and left due to a lack of sales.

We Heard Eden, NC had 40 different vendors last week.
