Sometimes first mothers get it wrong...this poor guy was deformed and possibly born early. I was not there upon her birth as I wasn't expecting anything until mid February!! But now she's inside so I can monitor her. It could have been DOA.. it could have died after birth. It appeared to be a stuck kit. She's a very nice rabbit and let's me pet her all the time. She's a cute little model. She could have overgromed him too. Lots of times first time mothers kill their babies...they trample them..eat them...nest after birth therefore digging where babies are. Look it up.

I have been getting her settled in and she loves to be put of her cage...I'm sorry you don't like me putting little hats and headbands on her. . but she's uses to it and doesn't mind a bit. Yes I know she's not a toy. She's a living thing. I feed water her. Give her herbs and treats. Let her out of her cage to get exercise. Make sure her water and feed is cleans and unfrozen. She has hay to eat- its fine to photograph with props. She's not a doll and I don't pose her.. I let her sit how she's comfortable. I don't leave then on hwe for long. I get a couple pictures and take the hats off. She's a great rabbit and I love her! Hopefully her next litter is more sussecful.
I agree that it appears to be a stuck kit, but also a large kit. That very well may have been the only one she will have, but you could give her a TUMS to chew and if there are any more that may stimulate contractions. Hope that helps! I had a doe kindle 3 when we had the cold blast 2 weeks ago and they are doing well. Hop onto a rabbit thread and post~

My run is uncovered - should I let the chickens out? They were cooped up with a heat lamp yesterday, and now my favorite Ameraucana, Rocket, is missing half her muff. :(

If I let them out, I have to leave the coop's [people] door open. Should've cut a small pop door when the weather was good.

My run is uncovered too, I let my chickens out yesterday and it was like 8 degrees and below zero with wind chill. Today is gonna be cold, and snowy, but not as much wind chill so I'm still gonna let them out
