gggrrrr my current four girls keep finding new places to lay their eggs. today I found six eggs in my childrens play house...any suggestions on how to keep them laying in their coop???

Maybe leave wooden eggs in the nest box where you want them to lay? The might be thinking about going broody...

I was thinking about going to the Orange swap but its raining so didnt get a chance to pick out my chicks to take. Also wanted to take some 4 month old silkies but I guess I will wait for the Fork Union swap. What are you taking ?

I'm not taking anything, but I'm hoping to buy some Silkies. If you do come, I'll be there with my money!

i'll be at the roanoke swap...  just look for the fugly truck and (off) white standard poodle in need of a haircut. LOL

Aw, I wish I were closer to Roanoke. The swap is probably much bigger there! My mom lives there, I'll have to schedule my next visit around a chicken swap ;)

Once again the Fishersville swap at Expoland .was worth the hour and a half drive. Still can't figure out why I can't sell a thing at local TS swaps but the same birds go really well up there. .Thanks to the more experienced breeders at both Roanoke and Fishersville who graciously share their knowledge and answer dumb questions You know who you are. :)
