Thanks! Somebody in the coop is not laying for whatever reason (and I can't figure out who it is, other than our rooster, Brave Sir Robin, of course), so I want to get a couple others to help fill in some egg orders.

Yes, chickens are addictive, and if you think that's bad, I would suggest never ever getting involved with beekeeping.

Hey to all. New to the forum and wanted to say Hi from outside of Lynchburg, VA. I've got about 20 chickens (mostly Dominicans) but a couple of Road Island Reds and bantams. Enjoy the hobby a lot and wanted to meet some near by chicken lovers. Cant wait to hear from ya.

Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking for a while - I'm in King William County. I've had chickens for decades, but have recently gotten an incubator, and have chickens coming out of my ears now.

Mark - If you're interested in laying hens (I think you said you needed to fill egg orders), I have either 2 or 3 year olds (white egg layers) that are laying like crazy. If they're not too old for you, get in touch... I need to rebuild the barn they're in, and can't really figure out what to do with them while I do that.
