That is so cool.

I was looking at the other stuff in the pictures - the rain barrels, gardens, houses, small yards, gray sky - and thinking, "That looks just like Portland...." And then I get back to the thread and surprise! (or not) you are in Portland!

Guitartists, it's pretty involved, but i'll put a short description here:
i use a fisheye lens so i get the widest field of view i can so i can take as few images as possible to cover the full 360 degrees. i take 6 around 1 straight up and 1 down at where the tripod was. i then use panoramic stitching software to stitch the images together. once stitched into a single image, i can photoshop out the tripod head and make all the color and contrast corrections i need to.

the computer does the rest of the work, warping the image so the lines are all straight and making it interactive.

I don't have a fisheye lens.... but I have a bit of experience with stitching... I figured it had something to do with that. I love anything that makes photography more than flat

I have an Anaglyph program that I LOVE!!!! edited to add..... I need to build a rig so I can take some 3d pics of the chooks..... They move too much for me to do it with one camera
