RIP Bailey, my boyhood dog, who was tormented by the neighbors fireworks, and force to escape the electric fence. She was hit by a car when we were gone.

And also Nugget, my favorite RIR who disappeared with 6 of my flock in a nighttime attact.

Oh, and Millie. She was the sweetest Mille fleur hen.

I went out to take care of my bottle baby goat, Zeigen and found him in the midst of having a seizure. After examining him for physical injuries, he had somehow managed to break his neck, so he couldn't move. After one seizure, another one came. I finally had no choice but to put him down.

I will miss my baby so very much and I don't even know how to explain how badly I am hurting. I am so sorry for everyone else's losses as well. Thank you for the thread to allow me this opportunity. I'm just gonna go hug my pillow now.

RIP Afterpee she is the one in front. One morning i heard plenty of crows crowing in my yard, i found her dead inside the coop later that day, the crows knew what was going on, i didnt. She was just laying dead in one corner. She was my favorite hen, social, she loved us and so did we. She was the one to get most of the treats secretly from the rest of the flock.

---bess,., my english setter 0f 17 1/2 ys---had to put her down--she would lean against the kitchen cabinets like the horse from from the movie cat baloo ,when she accidently placed her foot in her water dish and couldn't get it out---- i knew it was time--that was 31 yrs ago and i still miss her....

.....kate----my springer spaniel---my best hunting dog ever ,i lost her 7 months after bess to cancer.....

....i haven't hunted pheasant or partridge since---------kandy ,, our cocker spaniel--i took her physically from an abussive home , almost got arrested , the previous owner got drunk and thew her thu the aluminum front door window----

... took her about 6 months to warm up to me , gone now some 18 yrs ,sucomed to kidney failure-----she was the wifes companion----i was her security blanket and personel belly rubber ...

... by the way---some how the previous owner fell off his front porch-----twice.....

These stories are all so sad! I have a few. The most notable was one year when I was on vacation with my family when I was in junior high, we came home to every one of our chickens except one including my 4-H projects (

) torn apart and scattered about our yard. The one that survived had a huge chunk taken out of her back and my sister kept her in a cage in the basement and changed her dressings and medicine every day til she got better.
Another year, I brought home a chicken from swap meet that was not sick, but I think she was a carrier for the respiratory disease, and almost all of my chickens suffered a horrible, gurgling death.

Also, could you elaborate a little bit on this one, Sarrin? A flower pot? Really?

OK so here is y list of all the animals that i loved who are now deceased

Boe~ my greater swiss mountian dog. One day he was fine and playing. the next day he couldnt even get up. he had a large tumor

Gambler~ A long haired german shepered. He had a tumor the size of a coconut.

Bon Bon~ he was my hamster. died from old age

Cansdra~ she lived to be 21 yrs old. she was a tuxcedo cat. She had a stroke and was paralyzed

Finster~ Another cat that lived for 16 years. he froze to death.

Infray~ my silkie pullet. I gave it to my friend to watch and she sold it for 100.00 and that person who bought it killed it and used it for medicine.... he sent my friend some medicine. that made me
